TouchCab is an iPhone application that turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into a wireless handheld controller for your model railroad. You can follow your trains around your layout, and you can throw switches and turnouts without having to worry about plugging and unplugging a wired device as you move along.
When you launch TouchCab, it loads information about your locomotives and your accessories from the command station. You can pick any locomotive from a list and run it just like you would from the command station. All your accessories (turnouts and what have you) are also available on a list, and you can easily control these as your train moves along the line.
Multiple TouchCabs may connect to the command station at the same time, so several operators can work a large club layout, as shown in the YouTube video TouchCab LIVE.
The theoretical limit is 253 connected units (which has not yet been tried), depending on the capability of the command station. The largest recorded number of multiple TouchCabs at the same time is 8.
TouchCab Free
A feature limited, free version of TouchCab, allowing you to ”kick the tires” and try the TouchCab look and feel.
Tower

Tower is a multi-purpose application:
- Build a track plan from which you control signals and turnouts on your layout. You can use several independent track plans, for example one for each station or yard on the layout.
- Operate the switches and throttles from a button panel if you wish.
- Control your trains from a number of throttle panels.
- Change decoder settings and tweak and fine tune your locomotives for perfect operation (This feature will be available as command station protocols allow it)
